  • Paige Cara

    The founder of Prospect Park Yoga, Paige is known for her articulate and compassionate teaching, helping people appreciate the joys of an embodied life. She began teaching in 2011 and has since led thousands of classes and numerous yoga retreats, teacher trainings and mentorship programs. She is the owner of Private Yoga Brooklyn, teaching customized 1-1 and small groups sessions. She loves public space, being outdoors and moving and couldn’t help combining these passions in PPY.

  • Carlie Louise

    Carlie’s classes find their center within playful groundness and loving devotion. She incorporates her immersive studies in India along with a decade of personal practice to guide students of all experience levels towards reconnecting with their inner wisdom and channeling it into their everyday lives. By teaching mindful movement and intentional breath, Carlie aspires to offer a space where students can feel at peace with the present moment.

    Sophia Holly

    Sophia is a 500-hour registered Yoga Instructor, with a specialty in trauma-informed yoga & pre-natal yoga. She has taught in shelters, elementary and middle schools, privately, and in yoga studio settings. Her classes offer students the experience to connect to their body, and get to know it at a deeper level so they can attune to their needs while moving through this wild life.

  • Lawrence Dreyfuss

    Lawrence Dreyfuss, RYT 500, is a yoga and meditation teacher, ecstatic dance DJ, poet, storyteller, and student of Jewish approaches to embodiment. Lawrence received his first teacher training at Arise Yoga in Crown Heights and went on to study under advanced yogis at Samyak Yoga in Mysore, India. Today, he blends dharma and Jewish spirituality, drawing inspiration for his classes from the lunar cycle.

    Jen Tse

    Jen Tse is a yoga and meditation instructor, climber, and aerialist based in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. She strives to teach playful, joyful, and empowering vinyasa classes with an emphasis on alignment, body awareness, and self-discovery. Students can expect a fiery and dynamic explorations of posture with invitations to look inward in stillness. There will be challenges, choices, and encouragement for cultivating a positive and inquisitive relationship with oneself.

  • Eve Sanoussi

    Eve Sanoussi (she/her) is a 200-hour RYT based in the PLG area, with a penchant for teaching “yin-fused” vinyasa sequences. In addition to yoga, Eve is passionate about psychology, herbalism, tarot, Eastern philosophies, and health and nutrition, and loves to weave these systems of knowledge into her classes.

    Olivia Snyder-Sparkles

    Based in New York City, Olivia believes yoga should be accessible to absolutely everyone. Teaching all-levels, athletic yoga classes that are both welcoming of first-time yogis and challenging for veterans, she incorporates mindfulness and creativity into each session through meditative visualizations that help even the most type-A New Yorkers find a moment of zen.

    Becca Jacobs

    Becca discovered the transformative power of yoga 14 years ago during her career as a nationally competitive figure skater. She skillfully integrates breath, movement, and music, guiding participants toward embodied freedom and inner discovery. Through her teaching, she brings a playful spirit and grounded soul, encouraging authentic exploration that leaves students feeling connected, empowered, and free. She is also founder of Ripple. Affect, a music inspired yoga method & community.

    Kathleen Bostleman

    Kathleen's yoga classes incorporate tools from her extensive movement and dance background to help students gain mobility, strength, and confidence. Her teaching focuses on sustainable practice and body awareness. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist; her yoga classes often include elements of guided self-massage that inform the practice. She hopes to create spaces for those seeking refuge in self-study through movement and breath. She believes that observing sensation is the first step in listening to ourselves.

    Jennifer Kurdyla

    Jennifer Kurdyla is an Ayurvedic practitioner, yoga teacher, and writer based in Brooklyn. Committed to sharing the ancient tools of Ayurveda and yoga with modern communities, she helps her students discover personalized rituals that support their well-being in body, mind, and spirit. On the yoga mat, she is inspired by aligning the physical and subtle bodies through asana and breath, creating opportunities for students to feel at home in themselves.

    Michal Shapir

    Michal has been teaching yoga for 8 years, She has accrued over 700 hours of movement related teacher trainings in subjects ranging from Katonah Yoga, Buddhist meditation, to ecstatic dance, and even partner acrobatics. To Michal, movement is not just as a form of exercise—it is a form of personal devotion, exploration, expression, and ultimately acceptance.

  • Michelle Quiba

    Michelle Quiba started her movement career as a competitive collegiate dancer and team choreographer. She has since transitioned into a group fitness instructor with over 11 years of experience. She is drawn to forms like Qigong, Tai Chi, Yoga, and Somatics, discovering all these modalities share a similar focus on awareness and reflection. Her mission is to help others tap into the wisdom of their own bodies’, and experience the healing power of movement.

    Caitlin Rondina

    Caitlin has a certification in both reformer and mat pilates. She teaches a motivating, inspiring and upbeat pilates class that is designed to strengthen, challenge and empower. She loves to include elements from yoga and barre into her classes as a way to provide a well-rounded practice that strengthens, lengthens and tones the body. Her classes require stamina and strength of will, but her playlists will keep you going through the shakes! Students will leave feeling grounded, confident and uplifted. She loves sharing her joy of movement with others!
